Coverage of Israel isn’t always very good, or accurate – but sometimes, it’s just laughably bad. And that’s exactly the reaction that the New York Times is now getting in response to a recently published piece. Israeli and Pro-Israel influencers are mocking the Times by posting sarcastically-captioned pictures with the hashtag ‘sad-sad-israel.’
Israel has a budget! The Knesset finally approved the 2021 financial outline this morning, in a vote of 61-59. And just earlier, the accompanying arrangements law passed in the Knesset Plenum, too. Thus, making the 2022 budget possible and proving that the new government can be a success.
